Lisa N. Gale Peery, Esq.

Lisa joined Wiener & Gale, PC as a partner in 1998. Lisa represents purchasers, borrowers and sellers of residential real estate in Vermont. She also represents lending institutions, mortgage companies, real estate developers and builders. Lisa has been actively engaged in the practice of Residential Real Estate since entering the profession in 1992 and is experienced in all aspects of real estate transactions, closing and title insurance. Lisa is a title insurance agent for both First American Title Insurance Company and Stewart Title Insurance Company. She is active in the real estate community and is an affiliate member of both the Vermont Mortgage Bankers Association and the Northwestern Board of Realtors, and a member of the American Land Title Association, the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce, and the Vermont Bar Association. Lisa has been an instructor for the Burlington College Paralegal Program and has been a presenter in numerous seminars pertaining to Residential Real Estate Transactions. She has helped to educate homeowners, paralegals and attorneys about issues affecting the marketability of title and the title industry.

Prior to forming Wiener & Gale, PC, Lisa was an associate at Wick & Maddocks, and later a partner of Nuovo, Gale & Fuller, PC. Lisa is a graduate of St. Lawrence University (1989) and Vermont Law School (1992).

In addition to real estate law, Lisa is interested in the development and practice of Equine Law in Vermont. She has attended seminars in Equine Law at the University of Kentucky, and Springfield, MA. Her interest in this area of practice began with her lifelong ownership and showing of horses. Currently, Lisa's personal time is spent training and competing her Dutch Warmblood mare, Maaike, in the dressage arena. Lisa resides in Essex, Vermont with her husband, dog and horses.
